Real sold prices, not asking prices

Asking prices tell you what someone hopes to get. FlipTip shows what buyers actually paid: the median and range of real completed sales, with the individual sales and dates you can click through and verify.

How it works

Scan the itemFlipTip identifies it first, so it searches sales of the right item.
Completed sales are pulledRecent sold listings for that item on your eBay site.
Junk is filtered outBroken, for-parts, straps, empty boxes and lots are removed, so the range shows the item itself.
You see the middle of the marketThe median, a range without the odd extremes, and how many sales it is based on.

What you get

When you haggle, you are no longer quoting a guess — you are quoting what the last buyers actually paid. That is the difference between a nice find and a profitable one.

Real sold prices come from completed sales where eBay is a local marketplace. Everywhere else FlipTip uses your local marketplaces and an estimate, and says which one you are looking at.

Questions

Which plan shows real sold prices?
Hustler, Flipper and Dealer.
Why is the range narrower than some single sales?
Outliers — a broken one for a few euros or a rare boxed edition — are left out of the range so it shows what a normal one sells for.
