Connect your eBay accountMenu → Settings → eBay → Connect your eBay account. You sign in on eBay itself and allow FlipTip; FlipTip never sees your eBay password. Choose the eBay site you sell on and the postal code you ship from.
Scan, buy and write the listingThe item goes into your profit dashboard. Tap 📝 Make listing for an AI title and description, and use Photo Studio for a clean photo — both are used for eBay.
Open the eBay previewTap 🛒 Publish on eBay on the item. FlipTip shows the title (with an 80-character counter), description, photos, the eBay category, the conditions eBay allows there, the item specifics, your price and your shipping, payment and return policies.
Fix what is flaggedRed means eBay would refuse the listing (a missing item specific, no photo, no postal code), yellow means take a look (a small photo, a shortened title, a neutral value). Change anything right there.
Save it as a draftThe default: 📝 Save as eBay draft puts the listing on your eBay account without listing it. Come back to it any time, change it and save again.
Publish now🚀 Publish now puts it live on eBay. The item moves to For sale in your dashboard with a link to the eBay listing.
Most resellers lose time between buying and listing: retyping the title, hunting for the right category, guessing which item specifics eBay wants and then fixing the errors eBay sends back. FlipTip does that groundwork with what it already knows from your scan, and the preview shows you every field before it reaches eBay — so the listing goes up the first time.
Works on 13 eBay sites: eBay.com, eBay.co.uk, eBay.de, eBay.fr, eBay.it, eBay.es, eBay.nl, eBay.at, eBay.be, eBay.ch, eBay.ie, eBay.ca and eBay.com.au. Prices are in the currency of the site you sell on. Publishing to eBay is included in the Hustler, Flipper and Dealer plans; eBay charges its usual selling fees.
Is every listing saved as a draft first?
Yes, that is the default: 📝 Save as eBay draft puts the listing on your eBay account without listing it, so buyers can't see it yet. You can change it and save again, publish it with one tap, or delete the draft.
Does FlipTip see my eBay password?
No. You sign in on eBay and allow FlipTip to manage your listings through eBay's official connection. You can disconnect in Settings at any time; your listings on eBay stay as they are.
Which eBay sites can I sell on?
eBay.com, eBay.co.uk, eBay.de, eBay.fr, eBay.it, eBay.es, eBay.nl, eBay.at, eBay.be, eBay.ch, eBay.ie, eBay.ca and eBay.com.au. Your site follows your country, and you can change it in Settings.
Why does it ask for a postal code?
eBay needs to know where the item ships from. You enter it once; it is used for all your listings.
What about shipping and returns?
FlipTip uses your eBay business policies for shipping, payment and returns and shows them in the preview. On eBay.com, if you have none yet, FlipTip creates simple ones (flat-rate shipping, 30-day returns) that you can change on eBay. On other eBay sites you set them up once in My eBay → Account → Business policies.
Why does eBay want item specifics?
Item specifics such as brand, model or type are how buyers filter search results, and some are required in each category. FlipTip fills in what your scan knows and marks the rest so you can check it before publishing.
What happens when it sells?
FlipTip checks your eBay orders and marks the item sold in your dashboard with the sale price and date, so your profit and reports are up to date without typing anything.
Can I change the price after publishing?
Yes. Change the asking price in your dashboard and the new price goes to eBay too. You can also end the listing from the dashboard.
