Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of FlipTip AI at fliptip.ai (the “Service”), operated by the FlipTip AI team (“FlipTip”, “we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

FlipTip is an AI-powered tool that identifies items from photos and estimates their resale value, sell speed and a “worth it / skip” verdict for resellers and bargain hunters. Results are AI-generated estimates for informational purposes only and are not professional appraisals.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and able to form a binding contract. By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts

You sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

4. Plans, usage limits and fair use

Each plan includes a daily scan limit. Unused scans do not roll over. We may apply technical limits and reasonable-use controls to protect the Service. We may change plan features and pricing; for existing paid subscribers we will give at least 30 days’ notice of material changes.

5. Subscriptions, billing and renewals

EU/UK consumers — right of withdrawal: Digital services normally carry a 14-day right of withdrawal. By starting to use the paid features immediately, you may be asked to acknowledge that you lose this right once the service has been fully performed within that period. Where the right applies and has not been waived, you may withdraw by contacting [email protected].

6. Your content (photos and inputs)

You retain ownership of the photos and inputs you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the Service (including sending them to AI providers for analysis, as described in our Privacy Policy). You confirm you have the right to submit the content you scan and that doing so does not infringe anyone’s rights.

The Service, including its software, design, branding and content (excluding your inputs), is owned by FlipTip or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms.

9. AI results disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Price estimates, scores and verdicts are AI-generated, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for buying or selling decisions. You are solely responsible for your transactions.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FlipTip is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify FlipTip against claims and costs arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability) will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence, which are not affected by this section.
