At a busy stall you don't want to read a screen. Point the camera, hold the mic and ask: "How much should I pay for this?" FlipTip looks at the item and answers out loud in a few words — what it is, what it usually resells for, the most to pay — into your earbuds or the speakers of your smart glasses, and on the glasses' display too.
Open the scannerThe 🎤 button sits on the right of the camera view, with or without Treasure Radar on.
Hold and askHold the mic and ask in your own language — "what is it?", "is it worth reselling?", "how much should I pay?" — then let go. No mic? Tap a ready question or type one.
ListenThe answer is spoken and shown: the item, its usual resale price and the most to pay. Paired smart glasses show it on their display.
Scan when it mattersThe voice answer is a quick estimate from the camera. Before you spend real money, scan the item for its real sold prices and profit.
The voice assistant is a quick second opinion while your hands are full. It uses the same AI that identifies items in FlipTip, from one camera frame, so treat its numbers as an estimate — a full scan checks the real completed sales.
It is part of the Dealer plan, and of the free trial on its Dealer days. Voice input works in Chrome and Safari on phones; where a browser can't take voice, type the question instead.
Is my voice recorded?
No. Speech-to-text happens in your phone's browser; FlipTip only gets the text of your question and one frame from the camera.
Does a voice question use a scan?
No. Dealer includes up to 60 voice questions a day on top of the 90 scans.
How accurate is the price?
It is a quick AI estimate from the photo. For a decision that matters, scan the item: the scan checks real completed sales and works out your profit after fees.
Does it work with smart glasses?
Yes. Paired glasses show the answer on their display, and glasses with speakers play it like earbuds do.
